Who we are
DC ਨੌਜਵਾਨ Sikh Society is a nonprofit run by young Sikhs, for young Sikhs, across the DC Metropolitan Area.
We organize kirtan programs, seva projects, and gatherings that give Sikh youth a place to connect with Gurbani and with each other. What started as a small circle of Naujawan has grown into a following of thousands.
Programs centered on shabad kirtan, keeping the Sangat connected to the Guru's word.
Youth-led service - the everyday work of showing up for the Sangat.
A gathering point for Sikh youth across DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
